From designing and making my own prom dress collection in High School to creating and styling costumes for local stage productions, student films, documentaries (including Halloween or special events), costume design is something I’ve enjoyed exploring from a young age. 

 

In high school, I learned all about fashion design, development and construction in Art classes.

Building on an already existing hobby outside of the classroom, I dedicated both my higher and advanced higher projects to creating a theatrical prom dress clothing line based on the 5 'spiritual' elements of Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Spirit.

 

Whether hand made from scraps of material or deconstructed and styled from second-hand clothes, I enjoy designing, constructing or piecing together costumes for special events and showcasing them on social media.
